Control music, volume and more without having to sneak into your twins bedroom! Whilst sound quality is not top of your list, if you are going to buy a wireless speaker, this is our pick. For quick reference, you can find out more information and purchase by clicking here.
It’s an expensive piece of kit but there’s a few reasons we have this on our list! Firstly, in the newborn stage, we found that white noise, people talking (podcasts) or soothing music worked well in getting them to sleep. Secondly, the wireless feature was very important to us to control the speaker without having to go into their room. And lastly, we see that in the future, when the girls grow, we can use this for their room for audiobooks at night and entertainment.
Also, whilst expensive, most good wireless speakers are around this price bracket and the Sonos is the best quality we have heard compared to Alexa or Google Home.
This a very nice speaker. It’s made extremely well and looks very stylish. The sound quality is excellent and doesn’t distort at loud volume (tested without the girls being in the house!).
The setup detects obstacles within your room. This allows the speaker to adjust the audio to counter these obstacles. The wireless works well and is accessible anywhere around the house or garden.
The only let down is when updates are required as these can be a faff or sign you out of the app. That aside the performance of the actual device is brilliant. Again, whilst not massively relevant for twins in their first year, it will become more important when older.
There are plenty of other options out there to play audio, but as an investment for the future and/or if you have the cash, then this is the best option in our opinion. If your twins find it hard to sleep, then music, white noise or speech is often a great comfort for them.
